William Withey Gull

Jack the Ripper Suspect – William Withey Gull

Gull was physician-in-ordinary to Queen Victoria.

He was named as the Ripper as part of the Masonic/royal conspiracy theory outlined in several books and films published in the latter part of the 20th Century.

John Netley, a Coachman, was named as his accomplice.

Gull did not fit any of the witness descriptions, no coach was reported in the areas of any of the murders, and Gull is highly unlikely to have had the knowledge of the back streets and alleyways of Whitechapel to have made his escape on foot unaided.

Conclusion: William Withey Gull was not Jack the Ripper.
